Global Peers’ Update: Asian markets opened with flat note amid the mixed cues from western peers while not any fresh cues observed from FOMC meeting minutes. The U.S. futures have extended weakness while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closed marginally lower as gains in communication services stocks were offset by declines in technology and financial stocks, with financials also weighing on the Dow.
Sectors to Watch: Metals, NBFCs and Capital goods stocks expected to remain on focus during the day.
