Rane (Madras) Q1 Net Profit up by 62.5% YoY
Chennai, India, August 06, 2026: Rane (Madras) Limited (NSE: RML; BSE Code: 532661), today announced its consolidated financial performance for the first quarter (Q1 FY27) ended June 30th, 2026.
Q1 FY27 Business Highlights:

Consolidated Q1 FY27 Performance:
Revenue:
- Total Revenue was ₹1,050.6 Crores for Q1 FY27 compared to ₹884.4 Crores in Q1 FY26, an increase of 18.8%. Sales to Domestic OE customers grew by 13% mainly due to higher offtake in the passenger vehicle and farm tractor segment. Sales to International customers increased by 24% supported by strong offtake of steering products. Sales to Indian Aftermarket customers increased by 28%.
EBITDA:
- EBITDA stood at ₹95.8 Crores for Q1 FY27 compared to ₹78.5 Crores in Q1 FY26, an increase of 22.0%. EBITDA Margin at 9.1% for Q1 FY27 against 8.9% in Q1 FY26. EBITDA margin increased by 24 bps. The inflationary pressures due to the West Asian crisis was offset through operational initiatives and better absorption of fixed cost.
Profit After Tax (PAT):
- PAT stood at ₹30.1 Crores for Q1 FY27 compared to ₹18.5 Crores in Q1 FY26, an increase of 62.5%.
- Finance costs declined by 9.2% YoY in Q1, as a result of cost competitive borrowings.
Other Highlights:
- The Company has entered in to a Business Transfer Agreement to acquire the Friction Business of Hindustan Composites on a slump sale basis for an enterprise value of ₹370 Crores. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. It is expected to be completed by the end of the quarter.
- During Q1 FY27, the Company incurred capex of ₹76.2 Crores. The majority of the investments were directed towards steering and linkages and brake components divisions.
- During the quarter, the Company secured new business with Lifetime Value of about ₹2,040 Crores.
