The House of Abhinandan Lodha Brings Forward Delivery of the Nagpur Marina project in Nagpur by 2 years
Nagpur, 27 August 2026: In a first in real estate, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has announced a significant milestone for its customers at its flagship project Nagpur Marina, bringing forward the project’s expected delivery from the RERA-registered deadline of December 2030 to December 2028, an advancement of an unprecedented 2 years.
This is driven by the accelerated progress in construction at the site of this upcoming project. The fast-tracked delivery is particularly noteworthy given the challenging operating environment faced by the real estate and construction sector. Over the recent past, the industry has had to navigate disruptions arising from the ongoing West Asia conflict, including their impact on the availability and supply of critical construction materials, particularly metals. The sector has also faced labour-related disruptions. In such circumstances, several developers have sought protection under force majeure provisions when faced with delays or disruptions.
HoABL, however, has chosen a different path. Rather than using such circumstances as a basis to seek extensions, the company has remained focused on maintaining construction momentum and accelerating delivery for its customers. The project was launched in January 2026 with the expected delivery date of December 2030 or 5 years, as provided to RERA.
Commenting on the development, Mr Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman, The House of Abhinandan Lodha said, “For us, delivery is not merely a contractual milestone, it is a commitment to our customers. At Nagpur Marina, we are confident of delivering in 2028, well ahead of the previous 2030 timeline registered with MahaRERA.”
Mr Abhinandan Lodha further added that “When the project was announced in a hot, landlocked city like Nagpur, with no real marina, there was scepticism that the concept was primarily intended to just create Noise.”.
Spanning 918 plots, the project is supported by substantial infrastructure including internal road networks, electrical substations, sewage treatment plants, underground water storage provisions and more.
