AHMEDABAD, 4 MARCH: Asian equity index opened with the sharp cuts while South Korea and Taiwan equity indices continued to underperform during the second consecutive session. The U.S. equity index futures are trading in the red zone as a broader conflict in the Middle East showed few signs of ceasing, with investors fretting over the inflationary effects of a prolonged war. The U.S., Israel, and Iran conflict is set to enter its fifth consecutive day on Wednesday, with strikes against Tehran continuing into the late hours of Tuesday.

Oil prices consolidating at higher levels as the U.S. president Trump said the U.S. Navy could begin escorting oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz if necessary. Bullion prices are trading with resistive move despite the geopolitical risk as Dollar index continued to move in the northward direction.
