AHMEDABAD, 17 OCTOBER: Asian equity indices opened with a mixed note while Hang Seng fell sharply as Chip stocks like ZTE, Horizon Robotics as ASM PTE fell upto 7 percent. U.S. stock index futures edged down after Wall Street ended lower amid the raising possibilities of economic concerns as no sign for reversal of shutdown on concerns about the health of regional banks from two weeks, while U.S.-China tensions and an ongoing government shutdown further dampened investor sentiment.
