AHMEDABAD, 18 MARCH: Asian markets opened with the gains except Chinese markets while major focus would be on outcome of central bankers’ decision. U.S. equity index futures were trading with marginal gains after Wall Street rose slightly in the regular session, as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and monitored escalating developments in the Middle East war.

Oil prices reversed from day’s high, however remained buoyant near multi-year highs, with Brent crude trading above $100 per barrel amid supply disruptions linked to the Middle East conflict.
