NSE: Consolidated Total Income in Q1FY27 increased by 9% YoY to ₹ 5,252 crore

MUMBAI, JULY 31: National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), a leading exchange in India in terms of turnover across asset classes, reported a consolidated total income of ₹ 5,252 crore for Q1FY27 as against ₹ 4,798 crore for Q1FY26. 

The consolidated revenue from transaction charges for Q1FY27 was ₹ 3,623 crores as against ₹ 3,154 crore for Q1FY26. Revenue from data connectivity charges for Q1FY27 was ₹ 258 crore; operating investment income was ₹ 234 crore; and revenue from data feed and terminal services was ₹ 150 crore.

On a consolidated basis, total expenditure for Q1FY27 was ₹ 1,129 crore as against ₹ 1,053 crore for Q1FY26. On a consolidated basis, operating EBITDA for Q1FY27 was ₹ 3,594 crore with EBITDA margin at 79%, up 119 bps YoY. Consolidated Profit after tax increased by 7% YoY to ₹ 3,120 crore for Q1FY27 from ₹ 2,924 crore for Q1FY26. Earnings per share (on non-annualized basis) for Q1FY27 was ₹ 12.61 as compared to ₹ 11.81 for Q1FY26.

NSE’s contribution to the exchequer (including collections and payments) in Q1FY27 was ₹ 20,579 crore which comprised STT/CTT of ₹ 18,313 crore, stamp duty of ₹ 980 crore, GST of ₹ 657 crore, income tax of ₹ 373 crore, and SEBI fees of ₹ 256 crore. Of the total STT/CTT of ₹ 18,313 crore, cash market (delivery based) segment constituted 37%, cash market (intraday) segment constituted 6%, and equity derivatives segment constituted 57%.
