અમદાવાદ, 12 ફેબ્રુઆરીઃ હુરૂન ઈન્ડિયા અને બર્ગન્ડી પ્રાઇવેટ લિમિટેડે 2023 બર્ગન્ડી પ્રાઇવેટ હુરૂન ઈન્ડિયા 500 લિસ્ટમાં ગુજરાતની રાજ્ય સરકારને હસ્તક ન હોય તેવી સૌથી વધુ મૂલ્યવાન કંપનીઓનું વધુ એનાલિસીસ લોન્ચ કર્યુ છે. ભારતમાં 500 સૌથી મૂલ્યવાન કંપનીઓની યાદીની બીજી એડિશન જાહેર કરવામાં આવી છે. આ કંપનીઓને તેમના મૂલ્યને આધારે રેન્કિંગ આપવામાં આવી છે જેને લિસ્ટેડ કંપનીઓ માટે માર્કેટ કેપિટલાઇઝેશન અને નોન-લિસ્ટેડ કંપનીઓ માટે વેલ્યુએશન તરીકે ગણવામાં આવે છે. આ લિસ્ટ ભારતમાં હેડક્વાર્ટર હોય તેવી જ કંપનીઓનો સમાવેશ કરે છે. રાજ્ય સરકારની માલિકીની કંપનીઓ અને વિદેશી તથા ભારતીય કંપનીઓની પેટા કંપનીઓનો તેમાં સમાવેશ થતો નથી.

આ લોન્ચ અંગે એક્સિસ બેંકના મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટર અને ચીફ એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ ઓફિસર અમિતાભ ચૌધરીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે વિકાસના પડકારનો સામનો કરી રહેલા વિશ્વમાં ભારતીય બિઝનેસીસમાં રહેલી સ્થિતિસ્થાપકતા, ડાયનેમિઝમ અને સ્પર્ધાત્મક ભાવના છે. સતત ચાલી રહેલા નાણાંકીય કન્સોલિડેશન, ઊંચા સ્થાનિક વ્યાજ દરો, તરલતાની કડક સ્થિતિ તથા ધીમી પડેલી નિકાસો જેવા પડકારો છતાં ભારતનો આર્થિક વિકાસ પ્રભાવશાળી રહ્યો છે. ભારતીય કંપનીઓ અને તેમની લીડરશિપ આજે દેશ જે અનોખા સ્થાને પહોંચ્યો છે તેમાં તેમના પ્રદાન માટે ખૂબ જ પ્રશંસાને પાત્ર છે. ભારત હવે પાંચ ટ્રિલિયન ડોલરના અર્થતંત્ર તરફ આગળ વધી રહ્યો છે ત્યારે ચાઇના પ્લસ 1, એમએસએમઈ અને ‘ભારત’ જેવા ઊભરતા ટ્રેન્ડ્સનો લાભ લેવો નિર્ણાયક રહેશે જે દેશના વિકાસના એન્જિન તરીકે કામ કરશે.
2023 બર્ગન્ડી પ્રાઇવેટ હુરૂન ઈન્ડિયા 500 લિસ્ટમાં સ્થાન પામેલી કંપનીઓએ સંયુક્તપણે તેમના શેરધારકો માટે રૂ. 231 લાખ કરોડના મૂલ્યનું સર્જન કર્યુ છે. ભારતની અગ્રણી વેલ્થ મેનેજમેન્ટ ફ્રેન્ચાઇઝી તરીકે બર્ગન્ડી પ્રાઇવેટે આ મૂલ્ય નિર્માણને નજીકથી જોયું છે. ભારતની 500 કંપનીઓએ રાષ્ટ્રનિર્માણમાં મહત્વનું યોગદાન આપ્યું છે જે ભારતના જીડીપીના 28 ટકાનું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરે છે અને દેશના વર્કફોર્સમાં 1.3 ટકાને રોજગારી આપે છે. આ રિપોર્ટમાં નોંધપાત્ર બાબત એ છે કે લિસ્ટમાં રહેલી 52 કંપનીઓ એક દાયકા કરતાં પણ ઓછી જૂની છે જે તેમના ઉદ્યોગ સાહસિકના જોશ અને ડિજિટલ ઇનોવેશન સાથે આગામી દાયકાને ઓપ આપવાનું વચન આપે છે. 437 કંપનીઓના બોર્ડ પર મહિલાઓની હાજરી વધુ એક પ્રશંસનીય બાબત છે જે વિવિધતા અને સમાવેશકતા માટેની પ્રતિબદ્ધતા દર્શાવે છે.

હુરૂન ઈન્ડિયાના એમડી અને ચીફ રિસર્ચર અનસ રહેમાન જુનૈદે જણાવ્યું હતું કે 2023 બર્ગન્ડી પ્રાઇવેટ હુરૂન ઈન્ડિયા 500 એ અર્થતંત્રની ઉત્ક્રાંતિનું ઉત્કૃષ્ટ પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરે છે. ભારતના પશ્ચિમ ક્ષેત્રનું મહત્વનું રાજ્ય ગુજરાત તેની ઔદ્યોગિક તાકાત, ખાસ કરીને ટેક્સટાઇલ્સ, ડાયમંડ્સ, પેટ્રોકેમિકલ્સ અને ફાર્માસ્યુટિકલ્સમાં, માટે જાણીતું છે. તે સુરતમાં વિશ્વનું ડાયમંડ પ્રોસેસિંગ હબ અને જામનગરમાં વિશ્વની સૌથી મોટી રિફાઈનરીઓ પૈકીની એક ધરાવે છે. ઝાયડસ કેડિલા અને ટોરેન્ટ ફાર્માસ્યુટિકલ્સ જેવી નોંધપાત્ર કંપનીઓ સાથે રાજ્યનું ફાર્માસ્યુટિકલ્સ સેક્ટર હેલ્થકેરમાં તેના નવીનતમ પ્રદાન માટે જાણીતું છે. આ વૈવિધ્યસભર ઔદ્યોગિક આધાર ન કેવળ ગુજરાતના અર્થતંત્રને વેગવંતુ રાખે છે પરંતુ ભારતના આર્થિક વિકાસ પર નોંધપાત્ર પ્રભાવ પાડે છે.
