MUMBAI, 7 APRIL: Asian share markets and U.S. stock futures tumbled on Monday as fears of a global trade war led investors to ramp up bets on the risk of recession and a U.S. rate cut as early as May. U.S. stock index futures plunged and showing its steepest two-day drop in more than five years following President Donald Trump’s announcement of sweeping trade tariffs, which fueled recession fears and faced retaliation from key trading partners.
