MUMBAI, 6 JANUARY: Asian markets opened with mixed note as market is expected to find more cues from series of economic data from western markets while Taiwan equity benchmarks jumped by more than 2 percent. U.S. stock index futures were trading with flat note after Wall Street ended sharply higher last week boosted by technology stocks, while investors awaited crucial jobs data due later next week.
