MUMBAI, 1 APRIL: Asian equities opened with marginal relief, however now major focus would be on the announcements of tomorrow’s reciprocal tariffs. U.S. stock indexes fell after a quarterly decline on Wall Street, as investors perceive recession risks ahead of President Donald Trump’s April 2 tariff announcements. The Dow Jones closed 1% higher on Monday and recovered sharply after gap down opening trade.
