CVL receives SEBI NOC to set up separate business unit in GIFT-IFSC

Mumbai, August 14, 2025: CDSL Ventures Limited (CVL), a SEBI-registered KYC Registration Agency and wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Services (India) Limited, has received a ‘No Objection’ from SEBI to set up separate business unit at the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), GIFT City, Gandhinagar. The proposed business unit will be registered with the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) as a KYC Registration Agency.

CDSL Ventures Limited (CVL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) and the first and largest KYC Registration Agency (KRA). CVL maintains over 9.25 crore fully digitised KYC records, which are uploaded and accessed by more than 2,700 intermediaries across the country. CVL also provides services related to Aadhaar-based eKYC, Aadhaar-based eSign, Registrar & Share Transfer Agent (RTA), GST Suvidha Provider (GSP), Accredited Investor Agency, and de-duplication of claims under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY).
