AHMEDABAD, 28 JANUARY: Asian equity markets opened in the green zone amid the supportive overnight cues, however consolidation has seen ahead of key macro and corporate events. U.S. equity index futures are trading in the range as participants are getting prepared for Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision due today and a series of earnings from technology companies including Meta, Microsoft and Tesla that schedule post trading hours. Gold prices hit a record high above $5,200 an ounce as strong haven demand and prolonged weakness in the dollar benefited metal markets.
